DIGIPAK
Katy Perry's 'Prism' album cover inspired my creative process on the front cover of my digipak. It inspired me to have a prism shaped background and an image of a dark sky with stars with a picture of my artist.
I started by finding this image of BreBreRunway on Google. I only wanted an image of her head and shoulder so on photoshop I used the eraser tool and the erased the background and anything below the shoulder.
Thought about using this is the background shape but the shapes weren't defined enough and wouldn't stand out. Instead I used the shapes below.
I didn't really like the different colours on the shapes but the shapes were defined enough for it to stand out. I put the image on a 460 x 460 square with the image of BreBreRunway. For the image of BreBreRunway to be visible I had to decrease the opacity of the prism shaped image. I didn't want the prim shapes on her face or chest, so I masked the prsim shaped image just incase I made a mistake, then erased any part of the prism I didn't want.
I put the image of the dark sky with stars in the background after i was dont erasing the prism shapes off the face and chest of BreBreRunway. I found that the the colours on the prism shapes worked well with the dark sky image and so I kept it.

My back cover for my digipak was inspired by another version of Katy Perry's 'PRISM' album cover. I used the idea of the triangle inside of a circle and a big image of the artist in the middle.
I found this image of BreBreRunway on google but didn't want the grey background. I used the eraser tool to erase the grey background so it doesnt block the prism shapes and the iamge of the dark sky.
I also found this image of a circle on google but i wantd it to be white. So on photoshop Iused the paint bucket tool to fill in a white colour. Then I created a white triangle shape with the rectangle tool and put it in the middle of the circle.
